In 2025 we partnered with the National Archives to build a training programme for the senior team responsible for digital records. Many of them are experts in records management, but needed to broaden their skills to be able to work on digital initiatives across government, for example with the Ministry of Defence and the Courts Service.

The training was delivered partly in person in Kew, London and partly through a series of online training and advisory sessions. We grounded it in the eight units in our open-access syllabus and used the Archives' own services as working material and case studies. Participants gave the programme 90% satisfaction and left with commitments including an AI working group and a review of shared components across The National Archives' services.

How we are supporting the Government of Bermuda

We are partnering with the Government of Bermuda to deliver an in-person intensive digital government leadership programme designed for 40 of Bermuda's most senior public service leaders, mainly Permanent Secretaries and Directors General. The programme is built around our syllabus, customised to support the Government of Bermuda's goal to digitally transform government under the Public Service Strategic Plan 2024–2027. Led by internationally recognised experts, the programme is equipping senior leadership with the skills they need to lead change across government.
